Tayana 37 For Sale – We’re Selling Skua

We are selling Skua, as we are moving back to land for a little bit. This is not the end of our YouTube channel, and we will share what’s coming next on YouTube with you soon. We are not ready to announce it yet, as nothing is set in stone.

Asking: $50,000 USD
Location: Grenada, Eastern Caribbean, in the water
Year: 1976
Cutter rigged
Flag: British, previously imported from Canada (where it was bought) into the UK

Skua is a comfortable bluewater cruiser, currently in the water in a tropical paradise. Grenada has open borders and flights are coming in.

Skua features lots of updated equipment and is ready to sail away. This boat crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Gibraltar to the Caribbean in March 2020 and, as documented on our YouTube channel, the crossing was very smooth. With the new season starting soon, Grenada is the perfect place to start your cruising adventure.

The contact information is at the bottom of the ad.

If you are a serious buyer and would like to ask any questions, contact us on sailingkittiwake@gmail.com .

Please check that you can travel to Grenada before making an offer. If you cannot travel at the moment, but would still like to buy Skua, we can agree on a discount for a remote sale and store the boat for you (at your expense) in Grenada (in a marina, yard or mooring field), so she is safe until you can fly over.

Boat tour

To get an idea of how Skua is set up, you can watch this boat tour from 2019. Please bear in mind that this is an old video; a lot of the gear on board has been upgraded since then, so please refer back to the listing for the current specs.

Watch Skua sailing across the Atlantic Ocean

These videos are from March 2020. We crossed from Almerimar (Spain), to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Eastern Caribbean). The longest leg was from Lanzarote (Canary Islands) to Bequia (SVG), for a total of just over 3,000 nautical miles.

There is a huge amount of videos of us sailing Skua in the Med and the Caribbean on our YouTube channel. A lot of our boat work and upgrades have been documented there, too. You can watch them here: https://www.youtube.com/c/sailingkittiwake .
